The six scripts (there will be seven at the Kempsey performances!) are a mix of monologues plus a one-act play, but three of the monologues take this form of theatre to a whole other level: three separate monologues – ‘Home & Away’ – become a play.
‘Home & Away’ – begins with Dolly who’s in England getting her fix of Summer Bay. Her sister, Joan, stays at London’s Dorchester when she returns for a visit, and doesn’t that get up Dolly’s nose!. And then there’s Florence, their mother, who has her own story to tell.
Mix this in with the Wyz Wimmin & Friends’ signature social commentaries, and you are in for a treat. With an interval, ‘SHE’ will run for around two hours.
